An entity that does NOT exist cannot possibly "know everything", nor punish you for it... Have you ever noticed that the thing that actually "punishes" you the most IS YOU??? Relax.

Yes, our Father-Infinite I AM is Omniscient (ALL KNOWING)
But the main nature of I AM is that He is our infinitely loving Father ! He loves you so much that He has now made you a living son of God with the potential of eternal life in His Light !
Our all-Knowing, infinitely loving and kind Father God in/as our Sovereign Maker Jesus Christ DOES NOT "PUNISH" ! He/They lovingly GUIDE and REHABILITATE and TRANSFORM each and every human son of God who really desires such a Glorious, Eternal Destiny ! Freely Given by God !
You are given freewill to choose to punish yourself IF you (later on, up in a higher Heaven that all of us must ascend into for loving judgment --see John 12:31-32 ) then Absolutely decide against your eternal ascending Sonship Career -- then you will be not ...gone from existence forever. There is no real "hell"; no barbaric, ungodly eternal torment. GOD IS LOVE.
Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian Truthist

OF JESUS and ABOUT JESUS and IN JESUS

Yes, He knows everything. Yes, you have a choice to always do the wrong thing. He's just got scenarios to counter what you choose. He gives us many chances to turn back to Him.
If your son always walked out into the street, you probably wouldn't spank him the first time. Maybe not the second. But after a while of this toddler walking into the street, even though you're attempting to teach him not to, you're eventually going to smack him on the butt. That's kinda what God does to us. But with a much bigger paddle.

God's forknowledge does not relieve us of any responsibility. We still have the freedom to choose. Just because God knows what we will do does not mean we are robots and he makes us do it.
Most parents pretty well know their children well enough to predict what they are going to do under various circumstances. If mom says "don't touch the cake" and she walks out of the room, she pretty well knows that 5 yr old Suzy will stick her finger in it. But Suzie chose to do it. Mom didn't make her.
Of course, God's foreknowledge is much greater, that is just a weak illustration.

yes. because you always have a choice.
see, God isn't making you do the wrong things - YOU make that decision. you have the knowledge that it is wrong, yet you go forward with it anyway. God knows what you will do, but alway wants us to turn to Him for help.
a Christian faced with this same dilemma, cries out to God to help them overcome. and God responds in the way that is best for our growth, character and journey to Him.
remember that judas betrayed Christ and God knew it would happen. but here's the thing - did judas ever once ask God to take the evil out of his heart? to stop him from doing the evil that he was going to do? ...not once...
free will...

I don't believe so. I believe that people have convinced themselves of this over the years, centuries & millenia in order to 1) Make god seem as powerful as possible 2) convince people that doing contrary things and trying to hide the fact does no good 3) increase their own faith in god by making him more awesome than he actually is.

God is as neat as is wine, and as transparent as water in a glass, and as unsticking & slipy as murcurry, He is neither enemy nor friend, he is the creators, He is not punishing any one. Whatever punishment we gets in our life is solely due to our deeds done in the world, He is a great accountant and auditor to keep our balance sheet OK.

God knows everything BUT... God has no control of human existence. We are thrown into the world without any plan nor purpose from God. We are merely men living in the world. It is our freedom that makes us choose our own path. We use our freedom to chase our dreams and our goals. We us freedom to find our own purpose in life. No matter what freedom has chosen for you, you must always see to it that it is the right road. Whether you become a poet, a philosopher, a musician or a lawyer you must always make sure that that path you took will lead you to your purpose and ultimately to God.

Because His foreknowledge of our evil choices doesn't mean that the choices weren't still ours to make. He just knows what we'll do, that isn't the same as Him choosing what we will do.
