Best way to pick a tv is look at each one carefully to see what features each has according to what you're looking for. You may want to make sure that the tv is digital ready as well as making sure it has the audio/video connectivity that you may want such as hdmi (high definition multimedia input). You may also want to see what resolution the tv is capable of displaying such as 1080i, 720p etc etc etc !

If you can, check out consumer reports website for tv comparisons !

The Sony one would be my choice, since I own one. It is simply the best TV I have ever had. Make sure it's LCD. It should be, because Sony got out of the plasma & DLP display two years or so ago.

The Sony Bravia KDL-40D3000, but i watch action movies, and comedy on mines, and i have a 52inch, and im loving it.....

so is the question over brand or size. in size id pick the 40" over the 32", and id pick iether brand they are both great picks. me i like sharp over sony , but they are both great quality tvs
