When asked by an interviewer, what does the company owe you? What is a good answer?

Tell the interviewer, "The truth."

You can then say something like this.

I am going to work hard for you. I have no problem with working hard. I am going to be honest with you also. I know that if the company doesn't make money, then I don't make money. If the company makes money because of my efforts then I would expect to be treated right. If something is happening that could cause a lay-off, I would like to know ahead of time instead of the morning of the lay-off, etc. I know you have a company to run, but I also have to support myself and/or a family.

I'm a hard worker. Just like everybody else I have good days and bad days, but I have many more good days than bad days.

Be nice when you say it though. Keep an even tone and don't raise your voice at any time or give any facial features that might look bad.

If he/she asks you about something bad that happened tell them the truth AND what you learned from it. Also tell of something good you did that helped anybody you may have worked for.

I'd add reasonable recompense for services rendered.

I would be concerned about working for a company that asked that question as while it's all good and well to work for the success of the company, you are there to earn money to support you and yours.

Well, I would say a safe working environment is basically the ONLY thing that they owe you besides payment for services rendered. If you want to show a sense of humor, I would throw in a birthday cake for your birthday with some chocolate. :)

That's a tough question. I would have to say that my company should provide me with a safe and comfortable work environment for me to work in.
