How do you pierce your friend's lip?

I know all the dangers so please don't tell me.
Just tell me the safest way possible.

ok first off, if your friend is even old enough to get a lip ring and his PARENTS would let him get it. why not just go to a place and get it done. I did that once, and let me tell you i hit a nerve. I was stupid at the time and younger. Now sometimes at the spot I did it I have a sharp pain. I got use to it but still its not worth it. Get it done Professionally.

If you know all of the dangers, then unless you are a professional, you wouldn't be asking that question. If you are using this forum to seek an answer like that, then there is no safe way.

To put metal through someone else's lip, or any lip for that matter, you need to know anatomical layouts so you don't puncture anything you are not supposed to.

Well, first off, DON'T DO IT! It's totally unsafe, they could get infected, and have problems for the rest of their life.

However, since I see you are set on doing it, you might as well do it right. Take your needle, light a match, and hold the needle above it untill it turns red hot. This will sterilize it and prevent infection. Then, with ice ready to put on it, poke it through. Odds are you'll miss, hit a nerve, and they'll scream in pain and jump away. Put the ice on it to numb it, take pain pills, put alcohol on the area every few hours to keep it clean, and learn from your horrible mistake :)

you asked for the safest way possible. its called take your friend to an experienced piercer, you should not attempt to do this yourself unless you have experience, which I am assuming you don't if your asking this question.

apparently you DON'T know the dangers involved or you would not even consider doing such a thing. Please don't be stupid, have your friend get such peircing done by a trained professional.

And make your friend sign a waiver, so when it gets infected, they can't sue you.

get a piercing needle from hot topic..they r like ten bucks and sterilize the needle one more time even though its in the case.. then reaad the instructions....good luck and be careful
