Absolutely global warming is true! So is global cooling.
Global warming is one-half of the climatic cycle of warming and cooling.
The earth's mean temperature cycles around the freezing point of water.
This is a completely natural phenomenon which has been going on since there has been water on this planet. It is driven by the sun.
Our planet is currently emerging from a 'mini ice age', so is becoming warmer and may return to the point at which Greenland is again usable as farmland (as it has been in recorded history).
As the polar ice caps decrease, the amount of fresh water mixing with oceanic water will slow and perhaps stop the thermohaline cycle (the oceanic heat 'conveyor' which, among other things, keeps the U.S. east coast warm).
When this cycle slows/stops, the planet will cool again and begin to enter another ice age.
It's been happening for millions of years.
Humans did not cause it.
Humans cannot stop it.

Nah, because those folks who don't believe it's happening still won't believe. New York could be under water, The grain-states could become a semi-arid desert and the poles melt completely and these guys wouldn't "believe". Why should they, if the average temperature went up 20 degrees we still couldn't "PROVE" anything, since weather is an inherently chaotic system. Every horrific prediction of the global warming scientists could come to pass.
The problem is that those who choose not to accept the situation will always have an infinite supply of reasons not to.
It's like an alcoholic who refuses to admit they have a problem. I suspect about the time, they have to go begging at some wind-powered, communal hydroponic planned community which survives the nascent manifold problems we have created for ourselves, they will still say thanks for the food and by the way it's all still just a bunch of garbage that was never ever right anyway.
I think about these folks they way I think about basic racists those who earnestly believe that blacks , Hispanics or non-whites are genuinely inferior or that Aryans, Jews or some other group are superior, its a failing of human nature.
If you had told a German of the First Reich what would come to pass in 100 to 120 years in the future, they could scarcely imagine and they certainly would have reason to doubt. As a result we are no longer quite as racist as a whole as we used to be (at least in some parts of Western Society), we are tremendously less racist mind you , just a little bit.
So it is with environmentalism, what series of calamities do we not know of, or cannot imagine which will befall our children or their children because we acted shortsightedly, only time will tell, sooner or later, time will tell.

There are a minimum of five modern-day glacial sessions each and each of ~a hundred thousand years with a heat era in between of direction those have been led to via organic activities. on the tip of the final chilly era 11-12 thousand years in the past there have been below a million people on earth dwelling easy hunter gatherer lives, now there are 6.7 billion, at modern-day we are producing ~27 billion a lot of co2 in line with 365 days and that huge sort is merely going up, maximum is from carbon gasoline sources locked below the floor with the aid of fact the time of the dinosaurs. Now the Earth avg temp is 50F then it replaced into 60-70 and there have been no icecaps in any respect we are turning the Earth decrease back to those stages. How do we not be inflicting this. With some minor bounces with the aid of climate anomalies the Co2 and temp and sea point have been moving up at the same time over the final hundred years. alphapatriot and americanthinker talk for themselves as websites and what they could could desire to declare i.e. exxon (i did not waste my time even looking) the only actual shaggy dog tale in the AGW debate is how stupid a number of the denier claims can get.

I hope you live near the coast of anywhere when the Ross Ice Shelf breaks off and melts. Imagine an ice berg that is 1500 square kilometes and two miles thick melting. All the oceans of the world will rise 47 to 50 feet and the Mississippi River will end up being 400 miles wide.

I hope they hang all the naysayers for crimes against humanity. I'd support a law right now saying that would be the case when the world realizes its been destroyed by these self appointed climate experts that they would be handled in this way. On the remote chance that they turn out to be right, a law like this would be no threat to them. I think as a further gesture of defiance of the will of the rest of the human race, voting in favor of its passage would be showing they amount to more than passed gas in terms of their character.

COME ON PEOPLE WAKE UP, GLOBAL WARMING IS NOTHING BUT A POLITICAL STUNT. NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS.
In the 1970s, i think it was.. we were experiencing global cooling... do some research on the topic.
Truth is: THEY DONT KNOW.. 30 years from now itll be global cooling again!!!

Wow! you're going to enjoy seeing people die. It's sad, but I find this typical of the mentality of "warmers".
"If it was true" - So even you don't believe the hype. You just want to see people killed.

I'm with you, brother. I think it will be hilarious when these upper-class leeches that have been running the planet into the ground realize that money doesn't mean a thing when your city is 30 feet underwater.
