Yes- I welcome death. It is the time to Go back Home to the eternal kingdom where my beloved Lord Sri Krishna is tending the surabi Cows. I will be glad to see Him face to face. For now I will do my service to Him here until He calls me Home. Oh when will that day be mine. Smile. Only those who know what their eternal purpose is and follow that path they do not fear death. The soul is eternal and we are the soul. Our soul will not take another material birth again if we Practice Bhakti Yoga (the highest form of self realization)

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.

For those who have their hope secured in Jesus Christ, death is not a source of fear anymore.

I think the best word to explain it would be bitter sweet; it is sad of course to leave those you love on earth (even Jesus wept with Mary before resurrecting Lazarus), but knowing where you are going brings a lot of joy and peace also.

When we make a toy with some clay , the toy has some individuality. When you smash it , the individuial toy is annihilated and the clay remains the same .When you make another toy with the same clay, a new toy is created , but it is not the same old one .Its individuality is different . thge toy may be a man or an aniumal of the same kind .but they are different from one another.Death is like that .the matter of which yur body is made of is a state of continuous change .You know that the matter of which yur body is made of is a compound some elements and the lements ae made of atoms the components of allthe atoms of the diferent elements arethe same but varying in numbers (Quantity only). It is ony the cchange in the number of the protons and elctrons in the atoms of different elements that accounts for the difference in their quality and nature .so all thikngs ate made of the same basic builing blocks , just as the diffenret buildings of various dimensions and desigens are made of the same building blocks .While man is alive , he is like the battery cell that is full of charge .As the cell gets dischaged of its current ove a periosd whethr it is uded or not , so is the nature of the component elements are changed and the processof disintegration sets in oer a period of time .thei sprocess might happen in normal course or accelerated by the addition or loss of other elements by usage or by accident etc .and they become like the dead batteries .The components of the battery and their quantity might remain the same , but the chage in them is not active or alive or in a state of action..If left as suchj they disintegrate .so is the body. Once the elements of the body reach a stage that the elements oin the battery cell reach, they become dead and inactive .The atoms of he cvomponet elements of the batter will be alive but they would be on a differnet course of action.that is disintegration or formation f new substance which we would call disintegration or decay. Once the cells of he body become dead and inacie , there won't be any chance of the brain cells having any feeling of joy or converyig to other organs of he body any sensation whatsoever .It is just a biochemical reaction. Thr eis no difference between the stage of a vegetable in the process of decacy and our body.
Death itself is a state of rest of he bodily cells and the cells of all organs and fluids of he body. That results in the ceasation of actiovity of all sorts in all the cells of all the organs of he body.We are like the dead battery. The death occurs only when the bran which is directing the activiies of all the organs and cells of the body ceases to fuction. So the activities of he brain would have ceased totally befor one is declared dead .so the memory will be lost or erased . the question f feeling any joy or sorrow does not arise .It is a state of inacivity . a "SAMADHI"wher as the atoms would continue to be active in the formation of new elements by combination and disinteration.so it is action in inaction.!Death is neither a spource of joy or sorrow or peace to any one .It is a total annihilation whre none of these , joy , sorrow ,worries , or feelings of any sort will cease to exist .We reach a stage that we were before birth. We cease and all else also cease though the people left behind might say so many thngs about us .nothing will affect us and we have reached a stage of ZERO.the body which is like he clkay of the toy that is smashed will be made into some other things , many things that will be new and active again till they reach the atate oif inactivity .The cirle ends at the spot it statrted and continues its cycles again to end up on the same spot and thus the cycles goes on for ever .

No. Actually no one wants to die but they say so when in acute pain, physical, or mental. If a person is in pain and is wishing for death and u keep an artificial snake on his/her bed the person in pain will immediately run for life though apparently he/she wants to die. This is survival instinct. Death cannot bring u happiness. Death is as painful as birth. While u r breathing banish such thoughts and live an exemplary life thru meditation and gain strength of mind so that u r in command all the time. I wish u happy life and send u brightest wishes.

If life is so painful then death is canbe a source of peace.

Also I have seen one cast, where they celebrate death & cry when a child get birth. As they feel that the work they do is the worst(picking dead bodies of dead animals). So hard to believe.

After this life our spirits will go to spirit paradise or prison. Eventually each spirit will be resurrected and Christ will judge us according to what we did and why we did it in this life. He will then determine the best glory for us to go to. (Doctrine and Covenants 76: 95-98)There are 3 separate glories and then Outer Darkness or Hell. The lowest degree of glory is Telestial. The next is Terrestrial and it is said that if a man knew what awaits him there he would no longer wish for life.
