The answer is to sing from your "gut" or diaphram- it's easy to tell you but you have to relax in order to do it. One way that helps is to stand up straight and take a deep slow breath through your NOSE before you exhale and sing. It takes practice because your diaphram is a muscle and needs to be toned. I am REALLY happy you recognize that you sing nasaly!! It means you have a good ear and recognize that this is bad. Good luck I'm sure you will sound great.

Practice. Yeah, i know, it's an easy answer. But it's true.

I would start by learning to talk with your nose pinched close. It can be done and without a nasally sound. Once you have done this, sing the same way. Then once you have mastered that, unplug your nose and work as the same feel. Soon you will have a much less nasal sound.
