Who says they weren't deified? I know several people that still "worship" the Beatles (and Elvis for that matter) and I know people that pay more attention to the words of John Lennon than they do to to words of Jesus (whose existence is no more debatable than the Beatles or Elvis).

The Beatles doesn't exist anymore! However, they did exist, and even though they tried to spread the messages of love and peace, they never claimed that they created the universe or they are the sons of god or they got the message by Gabriel.

I think quite a few of there fans did deify them and yes all the pictures and videos of them really help prove there existence.
