I have an assortment of reasons why I don't care for Gordon and none of them include because he wins to much or who he drives for... I don't see why Jr. being his teammate will change that!

I am not a JR fan but I do not think it will change anyone opinion of JR. I know I actually like JR a little bit more now because maybe he can take some of the wins away from Gordon and Johnson. I hope he becomes the number one guy there.

I am amused at how Jr. fans hate Jeff Gordon. Jeff's championships speak for themselves and so does Jimmy Johnson. Jr. is a good driver but until he wins multiple championships he is not at Jeff's level.

Jimmy and Jeff are both better drivers than Jr. IMO

Well, all good things take time, and even though right now they do not like the idea of it, eventually when they get used to seeing them together, they will realize, hey maybe Jeff's not so bad after all. Because as teamates they will help eachother out alot, and they will figure that a friend of Dale's will eventually be a friend to them. Even though the tension is there now, I doubt it will last long come 2008....

There will always be conflict between Jr. fans and Gordon fans. It may not be as hostile as it once was, but it will remain. I still don't like Gordon, teammate or not, but I don't hate him. He is an excellent driver.

Go Jr.>>>>

The answer is of course they will.Until the very first race at Daytona when Jeff and Jimmy push Lil E to victory. But knowing Jr. fans instead of giving credit to Jeff or Jimmy they'll just say he's better then his teammates,oh well.Jr. will be better next year because Jeff and Jimmy are his teammates, not just because he'll have Hendrick equip.Jr. on a super speedway "Terrific" Jr.,Jeff and Jimmy as teammates on that speedway,,,"OMG"

I seriously doubt much will change. The haters will still hate and Gordon will still be the better driver.
Junior will, however, win more races. Gordon has no problem with Lil E, Lil E has no problem with Junior. It would be cool if we could learn from their example.

This is racing, not World War III.

NOPE!!

Once Jeff gives him a setup and Jr wins with it everyone will chill out. Remember Martinsville....... Jimmie won with Jeff's setup!

We share setups so much at Hendrick........They are changing the 24 setup to match the 48 for qualifying right now for Michigan.

At first when I heard the news that he was going to be team mates with Jeff...boy was I pissed off...but after a couple hrs and a couple buds.. I realized, hey Jr is going to a great team, he and Jeff are friends, and I've met Jeff several times..Nope, this Jr fan will be just fine, I won't be one of the Junior nation booing and tossing beer cans at Jeff at the races...Jr had to make this move...I've accepted it, looking forward to 2008..Jr, Jeff, Jimmie and Casey... But I will always hate Teresa...
