moved to country and having lots of trouble with wild animals and it is to far away from town to get help. up to me. i am the man in this situation. but trying not to use poisons and insecticides. ants? what next?

shoot them all. you don't need wild dogs which could be rabid. they could carry off your baby like the dingos in austrailian frequently do. dont wait, just use a good 3006 with optics and take them out. now you can have a pet dog.

ok well my grand-dad who lives on a ranch has a **** hound that took on a whole pack of coyotes and took on some bores and other wild dogs. but i have a schnauzer mix and they get protective and she took on a hog ( i thought she was going to die) anyway you might even want to try a rottie they are very good all around dogs and can protect. but you have to do training with all the breeds.

keep your dog inside. Keep your dog inside a large caged area during the night time so wild dogs can't get in. Or put up shock lines around your fence.

Get a rifle. Coyotes will kill your dog in a minute,and can jump fences. Why would you get ANTS???

Two great pyrenees will do the trick. Bred to guard against wild animals.

well what you should do is keep a wild animal as a pet and be friendly to all the wild animals and they'll be your friend, or you can leave them food.
