No person is able to come to God except by God's Word through the Holy Spirit and his own conscience which are God-given ( John 16:7-11; Romans 2:15-16). How are men drawn? The Lord uses men to bring His message ( Romans 10:14-17 ) but He does not obligate man to accept and obey it ( Mark 16:16; Romans 1:16 ). And God also uses the Holy Spirit to convict man of sin ( John 16:7-11 ). It is then that our conscience condemns or receives the light of truth we've been given ( Romans 2:12-16; 1 John 1:7 ). It is important for me to repeat "Light refused.....increases darkness."

Consistency of the text isn't spiritual to me. Using the Holy Spirit to guide is spiritual. Looking at the the text is mechanical and can help define, but it is not always consistent.
"Raise him up" is the goal of life, the ascension.
We see Enoch, Elijah and Jesus all went through it.
That is the finality of the wedding between our souls (feminine, the bride) and Spirit, (masculine, the Bridegroom, Christ).
As we seek this return to the Father, we are drawn to Jesus. This can be through Christianity or on inner planes even without the Bible. Many spiritual people who have lived in remote places in the world recognize Jesus immediately when they have been introduced to his teachings. They say they have known him in their dreams and in their daily walk.

To bring onto themselves
Faith is a gift from God
Spiritual things contradict the teachings of the world
which is why it is important to pray always where ever we are to remain spiritual and not of the world where we can be lead to sin

To 'draw' means to pull toward:
Eph 2:8-9
8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.
It is through God that we are saved, through His works alone, including the beginnings where we even start to wonder and search - it is a drawing of the spirit to Himself.

Draw: To pull toward. Who does the Father draw?
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Still the Father doesn't wish robots to love Him but only those who will give themselves to Him,

Draw- To draw by inward power, lead, impel.
God is speaking about the inward person. Flesh sure doesnt want to go forward, but the inward spirit will. When God drew Paul that day on Damacus road I know Paul's flesh sure wasnt willing, but when God spoke to the inward spirit in Paul he got saved that day. Also want to state God breathed life into Adam(Soul). So it is God who gave us life, and when God draws that soul it is up to that person to accept Jesus or reject him. My wish is they all accept him, but many will not.

God has left a hole in us that only He can fill.
Draw means to lead, as a good shepard leads His sheep.
He calls and they follow.
Man has a desire for that which is greater, and although some people satisfy them selves with alternatives, only God will truly satisfy ones soul.
