LOL...you've gotta love the GOP choices this time around. They hate Guiliani for daring to suggest that gay people are human, and Romney because he's the wrong brand of Christian. They really need a sleazy pandering weasel like "W" to get them all riled up at the polls.

For me, choosing a leader is a matter of compromise...of making trade-offs between various positions. If there was another candidate that had the EXACT same position as Mr. Giuliani on every issue except those noted above, I would choose the other candidate because "pro-life" is more consistent with my opinions and beliefs than "pro-choice".
But that is NOT the case. Each candidate has a unique platform and a unique set of skills and abilities that he (or she) will use to perform the job. When I choose to vote (or not vote) for someone, I look at the entire picture and make my decision based on my assessment of how close each candidate comes to supporting my position on the issues that are most important to me. While the "pro-life"/"pro-choice" debate is important to me, I wouldn't put it in my "top five" requirements for a good president. A candidate's position on abortion (and gay rights) doesn't become relevant in my decision until I've already evaluated other criteria and still need a basis for choice.
In short, IF Mr. Giulani's platform is most consistent with my own on the issues I find most important, I could absolutely bring myself to vote for him despite our disagreement on the issues you mentioned. If he isn't the best candidate in terms of the issues I find most important, I wouldn't vote for him even if he was "pro-life"!

I believe you a hundred% Abortion is homicide until it relatively is to guard the life of the mummy. Abortion isn't start administration! Why can no longer those females use start administration or have their tubes cut back & tied? yet another determination for a unplanned being pregnant could be to offer the toddler up for adoption. there are a number of that want slightly one and can't have one using scientific motives. i assume they do no longer desire to could desire to pass contained in direction of the being pregnant yet i think they did the deed, do the the main suitable option element. many females who've an abortion remorseful approximately it later in life. i be responsive to 3 who've fairly some issues coping with it. u . s . a . is going down. it relatively is a tragic time. it relatively is all i will say.

There is no way that I could vote for him...As a christian I do not support gay-rights or abortions of any type....Abortion is another word for murder in MY book...that is my personal opinion. If ya get pregnant and dont want the baby then give the baby up for adoption. As far as gay-rights go...that is just against God as well. It flat out says in the BIble that a man is not to lay with another man. why would i support something that goes against God just because i like somebody? I wouldn't...

Let me start by saying that I am Catholic. I like Rudy, anyone whop puts away people like Ivan Boesky and Michael Milken is an OK Joe. Rudy has a LOT of problems. He is a Catholic who is divorced and is pro-choice. This gives the Protestants AND the Catholics reason to dislike him.

Even if he is pro choice, huh? You know, if you put a ban on abortion and gay rights.... oh wait, you can't. It's against our constitution and to ban gay rights, and if you put a ban on abortion, well you are just going to have an increase in women sticking coat hangers and other sharp objects where it doesn't belong. So would you rather have it in a supervised manner, or something worse?

I wouldn't vote for Rudy because he's a globalist controlled by international banking interests, just like GWB.
And there's not a dime's worth of difference between Dems and Repubs anyway. When the chips are down and the bottom line is read, both are owned by corporate pigs.

...always try to remember... those are "his" belief's... he cannot put "his" belief's into Law unless YOU (thru your Congressman, vote them in)... Rudy could believe in Santa Clause and the Tooth-Fairy... that fine... I want a Leader who has got some "balls" and is able to stand up to the lunatics of the World... and I believe he can... I'm very very concerned about Hillery and Barrack ...how are "they" going to face Al Qeada when "they" are terrified to face O'reilly....?

Unfortunately they likely won't. Another interesting question, however, would be... will liberals consider voting for him or will they remain fan boys for the democrats?
