If you are a person of any faith, will you please join in prayer for the people of Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, Haiti and other nearby islands? It looks like Hurricane Dean will very shortly be in an ideal position to expand, rapidly, and Jamaica is likely to get the worst of it. Please keep all the people in this storm’s path in your prayers.
Hurricanes play a vital role in the planet’s balance, but it’s no fun to be stuck in the middle of one.

I don’t mean to be rude, but do some of you have trouble with reading comprehension? I was speaking specifically to people of faith. I said nothing about stopping the hurricane, I said pray for the people as they go through this difficult time.

I have been watching and praying as Jamaica is held near and dear to my heart. They have avoided many nasty ones and I truly hope this is again the case.

Better yet I will go stand on the eastern tip of Jamaica and ward the storm off with threats and incantations. I bet I am at least as successful as any prayer.
