The symbol for Karma is Cause and Effect....
between this 2 there is one thing call occurance.
If you plant a tree (Cause) but don't give it sunlight, water and soil (Occurance) to cultivate it, there is no Fruits (Effect).
But if you cultivate it, Karma is created.

While there is no symbol for karma (other than Japanese and Chinese ideograms), you may be thinking of the yin-yang symbol of a circle with an S shaped curve through the middle with one half white and one half black.

In Buddhism we use the "Wheel of Existence" as an illustration/symbol for it. It defines karma in pictures that have significance.
