One of the family members shouted at the bodies of his wife & children as they were pulled from the rubble, "Why did you go? Why?"

He had listened & didn't go.

Adoptive Father, Please don't accuse me of finding joy in victims of tragedies.

I don't believe celebrating a bogas holiday is pleasing to God but is instead a sin.

But so is not listening to God when God warns of of impending danger.

THE WIFE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO HER HUSBAND. GOD DIDN'T KILL THE CHILDREN. WE HUMANS HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES AND NOT BLAME GOD.

IF SOMEONE TOLD YOU NOT TO STEP IN FRONT OF A TRUCK COMING AND YOU STEPPED IN FRONT OF IT THEN IT WAS NOT GODS FAULT THAT YOU GET RUN OVER OR KILLED .ITS YOURS.

Are you still trying to find some divine reason behind these unfortunate peoples death?

Things happens, tectonic plates move, the earth is restless and sadly people get hurt when earthquakes happen.

Aside from the two hundred and something catholics who where killed, what about the non catholics - or if you want to talk about earthquakes, the thousands of non Christians who died in Asia several years ago.

Religion has nothing to do with it.

What are you talking about? The Assumption is a major feast day in the Roman Catholic calendar. Peru is a Catholic country, why weren't they supposed to celebrate?

Can you explain exactly what "GOD" told these people?

And how did anyone see a storm before a quake, St Lou?

Death toll from massive quake climbs above 500
(OK, only 200 of those were in the church)

This is one of the most hateful and offensive things I have heard here in some time. You sound like you are taking pleasure in the death of people who do not agree with you. Are you a member of the Westboro Baptist Church? Did you just get back from protesting a military funeral?

Maybe they did, God just wants them in heaven with Mary

Your only interest in the Peru earthquake is the extent to which you can use it as anti-Catholic propagand?

Enough said

So, God killed his wife and his innocent children? I can't imagine think of anything lower than harming kids.

When you see the storms approaching and it looks bad...that is God's way of talking to you...yes you should listen.
