There are always so many things on here and in the world about how they dont like the views of Christians or how there so hypocritical about there own morals...

Why is this? Why do they try to find everything wrong with my religion? Simple things like:

You eat pork... Your not supposed to eat pork.... I eat Pork yes I do!

The New Testament changed so many things. It gave us new rights that Old Testament people did not have. We no longer have to give sacarafices.. We can speak directly to God.. And we have FREE WILL. Just because some guy says he's Christian doesnt really mean he is... Some people like the title but none of the things to go along with it. Yes, I break some rules, and sin, but were human. Thats why Jesus gave us the ability to ask for fogivness.

Does anyone else agree with me? Or am i just babbling...

Someone below said that if Christians would stop telling people what they can and cant do....

True Christians are not supposed to judge, because that is left up to God himself. Remember that- Christians dont judge :) I try not to judge but it is hard. Its a natural human response, but I still try keep it i.

Okay here are more points to be made:

Tithes: To me and others.. Tithes dont have to be made out to the Church! Tithes can be as simple as donating your time. The Bible talks about donating 10%.. 10% of your time is all Jesus is asking for. It doesnt have to be money!

Gay: Im not here to judge on this topic. If they want to stay that way that is fine by me. Do I technically believe its right? Not really, but thats not for me to decide. There are programs for them to try and change but God wants formost for them to LOVE HIM! and Love thy Neighbors... If you do that then your guarenteed Heaven.

Sadly there are those who claim to be Christian, but yet don't follow the teachings. Then there are those who are the "Holier than Thou" types which most people don't like. They have an attitude that they are better than the rest of the world. Then you have those that try and push their beliefs on others. And then we have those who try their hardest to live a Christ-like lifestyle, but those are the ones who are attacked because of most of the world only sees the others. When you see one person in a bar drinking, but yet says he is a Christian, the next Christian they see may attack. But that is just what I think.

By the way, I do agree with you.

Well, it sounds like you're babbling just a bit, but I personally stand by my morals. And being an Agnostic, I didn't have any "Christian Law" tell me what is right and wrong. I KNOW what is right and wrong.

But you do have to admit, that the New Testament contradicts quite a few things from the Old Testament. And since both are part of the Bible, why would you not follow both?

1. You tell everyone you can get the attention of that they should behave this way, and then don't do it yourself.
2. You insist to the point of hate speech that certain parts of the Bible must be followed, but conveniently ignore the parts that would not work out well in your own life. (Even driving kids to suicide because they are gay and can't "change" themselves. That's just sick.)
3. You try to legislate your particular brand of morality in religiously neutral countries.
4. You fail to consider the opinions of others, instead insisting you and you alone are correct.
5. Intelligent Design - no explanation needed.

To name a few.

Unfortunately there are people who claim to be Christians but don't follow the teachings of God's word. Therefore they are being viewed as hypocrites by the rest of the world.

There are also people who don't believe in God and hate Christianity.

All I can tell you is to stop worrying about what people say about Christianity. You have a right to believe whatever you want to believe. Just be sure to be genuine about it.

All of the old testament laws still apply to Christians

Matthew 5:18-19
(18) I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. (19) Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Just Blabbing. Your religion however wonderful you think it is can be very harmful in a number of different ways. Just a few examples:

1. You could care less about the environment because Jesus is coming soon, and it doesn't matter.

2. You could care less about population control even though we are over populated and children starve to death daily.

3. You willingly take money from poor people and call it "Tithes", and convince them to keep giving because if they do, god will bless them.

4. You think everyone who does not believe what you do is doomed to hell and stupid for not believing, and at the same time claim to be "Humble"

the list goes on........

If Christians stop telling everyone else what they should or should not do based on the Bible, eg telling non-Christians that being gay is wrong because God said so, then the issue will be dead.

Whys should anyone care what the Christian God thinks or what the bible says if they don't believe in it? And they certainly shouldn't be forced to live their life by it.

I think your wrong. Jesus himself said that he didn't abolish the law:

Matthew (5:17-18)

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."

You better stop it with the pork eating buddy. Hell's a comin'.

I try to find things wrong with your religion because I used to be a Christian apologist who now thinks I had it all wrong. I simply want to save people from making the same errors that I once did.

A.) Telling nonbelievers that they are going to Hell
B.) Getting laws passed based on your beliefs
C.) Using the Old Testament to condemn others but not living up to the rest of it.

I would like Christians so much better if more of them dropped the attitude they love to give nonbelievers. And all of them agreed to keep their religion out of schools and government.
