I just got married, and want to send a little storybook album to both of our families. We took engagement pictures prior to the wedding pictures. Should I include both in the same album? Or are the engagement pictures just for my husband and I?

i made a scrapbook too and include engagement pictures on the first page. :) it is nice to have the complete story. i would if i were you, not tacky at all.

Unless the engagement photos include private photos of you and your husband (by private, I mean naked) .. put them in!
I'm sure the families would love to have the pictures sharing the special moment of the engagement as well as the wedding. And it makes sense -- after all the engagement really is the start of the whole adventure right?

Including both sets of photos is perfectly acceptable. It will do a nice job of "telling" the story of your engagement and wedding.

What would be tacky about that? I think it's a charming chapter in the story, and I bet anyone who is close enough to you to get an album would feel the same.
Your pictures are yours to share or not as you please. And if you want to share them, I think this is a lovely way.

I don't see why it would be tacky. It sounds cute.
But I'm sure you will have people on both sides that like it and that don't. You will never make everyone happy so please don't bother. Do what you think is right.

I don't think it's tacky! It's about your love for one another, so putting in photos of you both-no matter when they were, is a very nice idea!

i think that is so nice but make sure the album does not say just wedding or such on it just plain would be fine and you can maybe add your own title to it called our love for one another and add all the pics. you want.

NO not at all I make scrapbooks, so I put them all in there for family members.

I think it is neat to have them all together. I think it is wonderful that you are sending books to your families. I believe it is your call.
