Because this bloody government and politicians have made entering into the uk so easy anyone can get in and start a radical group. the government will house you give u money to spend, free hospitals and later get its own people bombed! what the hell is the psychology of this country's politicians PATHETIC PATHETIC, PATHETIC, PATHETIC, PATHETIC,
This country is slowly becoming a muslim state and white people cannot see that happening and so they leave.(i am an indian from kenya)my observations are precise because people i work with white people and they are shitting in their pants every minute! the education is not so good and crime is flourising because solicitors become politicians and they pass laws to improve businesses for their fellow men in black suits and produce more and more laws. and when it is time to be accountable they set up a commitee! waste millions of public funds, have nice holidays and sit with rich people and continue to take this country to the ground! The people who live in this country are stupid -educated idiots and they cannot see for themselves what is happening to this country...like just last month the goverment is giving £70 million to muslim schools to teach muslim children to be good british citizens! what a slap in the face of my neighbour a 80 year old man and 70 year old wife both poorly and dying...the government cannot afford to give them free council tax? PATHETIC, PATHETIC, PATHETIC, PATHETIC, White people will continue to leave this country and it will be the worst betrayal of ones motherland... and to make it worse the war in the middle east could spill over to the streets of london, birmingham...and every where else, it is not safe to live in the uk anymore that is why people are leaving, crime is really high that is why people are leaving the country. It makes my heart cry!

There are always pluses and minuses when considering a move abroad. It's essential to have visited the country and the area you want to move to. I have lived in Southern Greece on an island for the past 17 years. Everything I have (home, children, business) is here and I have learned the language which helped enormously although everyone speaks some English in Greece and it's easy to get by. I have, over the years though, seen people come to stay "forever" only to return to the UK after a couple of years. Here we all have to work very hard and long hours for 6 months to be able to survive for 12 months. The winters are quite cold and many people are very surprised by that. My best recommendation is if you plan on going somewhere which relies on tourism, go out of season for a month or two to feel the real way of life which you would experience if living there. Lastly only go for the right reasons, you would be leaving behind a lot of familiar people and things. Good luck!

Large scale immigration has profoundly unsettled the UK. England is disintegrating, Scotland looks about to become independent, ethnic communities are proliferating in the Midlands. The fate of those at the top of the ladder of wealth is divorced from those on the lower rungs. There is a growing disconnection between the government and the people. The more apart we become the greater our pretence at togetherness to cover the constantly enlarging chasm. The government shouts about community, separateness and multi-ethnicity and ignores the problems caused by uncontrolled immigration. The poorest communities have suffered the most, with public services, schools, NHS and housing being overwhelmed. The Home Office doesn't know how many immigrants have arrived which means organisations such as the Bank Of England cannot arrive at sensible economic conclusions because their figures are not complete. Again it's the poor who suffer because of high interest rates which affect mortgage repayments. The UK is already overcrowded and yet the immigration continues; listed above are some of the reasons why Brits are moving to countries where cautious, good sense prevails rather than here in the UK where the government's only concern is to stay in power notwithstanding. See you in Canada!!!!

So many answers here seem to say that the English are moving abroad because of immigration! So no-one seems to see the paradox. If we move abroad then WE become immigrants and, oh my goodness! WE then need to start learning another language and WE need to start assimilating in our new country. And yet what actually seems to happen is that the Brits abroad pal up with any other Brits just to avoid becoming part of a new country and a new culture.
In short, if you're thinking of moving overseas because you're (face it) scared of immigrants who don't speak like you, look like you or have a similar culture, then you are simply being a hypocrit unless you can assure me that you will be getting on with your new (foreign) neighbours and joining in etc. But if you're scared of people who are different to you, then you won't join in etc. So what do you think you're doing? Put some logic into these pathetic answers kiddys.

Since i'm not from England and know nothing about your immigration problems, I read the answers already given to your question. Seems most people think it has something to do with immigrants flockiing TO your country and living off government handouts. As a US citizen, all I can say is, we feel your pain, as the same thing is happening here. However, you do have the power to change things if you would get a little backbone and stop acting like a bunch of spineless jellyfish. STAY HOME AND START FIGHTING FOR YOUR COUNTRY. The world wouldn't be the same without the good ol' brits with the stiff upper lip and all that crap. If lots of people are bailing, all I can say is Winston Churchill (my hero) would be ashamed of you.

Because our industrial base has been sold abroad law and order is being allowed to disintegrate and there is is no protection for decent law abiding people. If you are an engineer craftsman tradesman or nurse the employment options are much better abroad. Our sovereignty is about to be handed to the European Union and what could not be accomplished by force will be achieved with a confidence trick.

For us it was because of the weather, always cold and raining in England. Here in Spain the weather is generally hot and dry. The cost of living here is far cheaper, which is great if you are retired. Not so great if you have to work as wages here are much lower then in England.
