I make my own.
Get beef liver. Cut into thin strips.
Place on cookie sheet (spray with non-stick PAM)
Place into 175 degree oven until hard and dry.
You are making liver jerky--better overcooked than under.
Break into small chucks for treats--no salt or sugar. Don't over feed this--it's a treat not the main diet.
Bag and freeze--will keep for 6-8 months.
Can be easily crushed as a food additive.
I feed directly from freezer--basically a liver popcycle.
A VERY healthy treat and dogs absolutely love them.

I don't know what they give them, but I know when I was training my dog and needed a bunch of little treats I found those "training treats" and they're small, but I would just break them into even smaller pieces so there was not really chew time required for them.

Liver treats, broken up into tiny pieces. They're very flavourful and dogs love them, that's why they'll do anything for a crumb! You can buy them at any dog-training or obedience school... and in some pet stores.

Yes it is usually dried liver that has been broken into smaller pieces and packaged. Someties it comes in pellet form too like kibble. We have them in the pets section of supermarkets in Australia. You can also get chocolate flavoured dog treats, but the dried liver is something they love.

I frequently first prepare the main extreme trick it particularly is to return. This trick is the main extreme trick a canines can ever study. the clarification is that a canines's existence could nicely be saved with the aid of fact if the canines runs away, it may desire to run right into a highway or a prepare song. as a result, in case you say come, the canines can respond to the command via coming to you. the superb technique to permit your canines to verify this command is once you enter the abode from being outdoors for a protracted time and shout "come" on your canines because it may be probably that the canines will come to you with the aid of it lacking its proprietor. For different instructions, I merely save on with the classes of a e book. yet right for you that your canines isn't continuously looking forward to a manage from you on each occasion he/she executes a trick.

maybe they break them down from the original size so that the dog isn't feasting, just getting a small treat

they give them whatever they like mostly. some give ham or turkey bacon and some use bill jax which is a soft meaty dog treat. you may have to chop it up yourself. also dogs are crazy about hotdogs and cheese.
