If Satan doesn't have free will, then God is controlling his evil actions, right? If he does have free will, wouldn't the other angels have it as well? What's to stop them from rebelling?

Respectfully. I believe he does, and they do, as much freedom anyone could have within a limit, as it is with anyone else, including toi.

Satan does have free will! This is what enabled him to rebel in the first place. Yes, other angels obviously have the same ability, for Satan was able to convince one third of the angelic realm to follow him. They are now referred to as demons. The only thing to stop ANYONE let alone angels from rebelling is a firm, unwavering belief in the system of obedience laid out in God's Word.

The answer is yes, Satan has free will and chose to rebel against God. The other angels in heaven also have free will and have chosen to remain with God.

Satan is a word which has simply been taken into the English language from the original Hebrew of the Old Testament. Has the word been translated it would have been rendered Adversary.
An angel who rebelled against God and who's primary aim is to turn men and women from obedience to God.
This is the conception of the Devil which was taught for centuries in the name of Christianity and which gave rise in the hearts of millions to an unreasoning and abject fear.

The Bible tells us that "1/3 of the stars (angels) of heaven fell" with Satan. This implies that Satan and his angels had and have free will...just like Adam and Eve as well as you and I.

I think the depraved state in which this world exists would be reason enough for anyone to recognize that God knows what's best and has the best design and plan for us if we utilize our free will to follow Him.

Check out, incontext, these chapters...pretty interesting stuff
Revelation 12:4
Isaiah 13:14

Hope this helps!

Yes, Satan has free will, just like the rest of us. And yes, so do the angels, in my opinion. And I suppose should one of them choose to rebel, God will cast them out of heaven, just as he did Lucifer.

They should, yes. God most likely CREATED Satan to rebel, otherwise he could not have his galactic battle between good and evil. All of this was his own doing.

The best part is that he JUDGES Satan for rebelling, knowing all along that when he created him, he would.

Isn't it awesome how god creates things, gives them free will, and then condems them to an eternity of damnation for exercising the rights that he gave them?
IF satan existed, yea he would have free will. It's a good thing I don't believe in that stuff - it makes my head hurt.
