I am thinking of relocating to Las Vegas and looking for a good large company to work for, preferably in the Automotive or Electronics industries.

Don't rule out the casinos. They have several different departments including Automotive and Electronics. The Engineering Department in most casinos start people at $22.00/hr.

IGT (International Game Technology). IGT is the number one slot machine manufacturer. If you can get in to this company, go for it. There's not much else in Las Vegas. Also, the casinos hire for alot of different positions not just working on the floor. I lived in Vegas for 2 years. If you are a gambler, DO NOT move there!!! I love the city, but I can only visit. Try to get a job before buying any real estate. It is tough for newcomers to find work. The companies tend to look for people who have been established in the city for at least a couple of years before hiring due to the high turnover rate.
