When some stores don't carry 12 packs of beer, is it the law they have to sell you 2 six packs at a 12 pack price ? 12 pack of Coors light is like $9.45 but a 6-pack costs like 5.77. I think I was robbed when they charged me 11.54 for the 2, 6 packs.

i have never heard of a law like that, i think you are the mercy of the store and the way it does the pricing.

If you though you were getting robbed then why did you pay it. move on to a different store.

I only buy 24 packs because a 12 pack is $10-11 and a 24 is $15ish. double your beer for less money.

No, it's not a law to charge you 12 pack price. That would be at the discretion of the owner or the clerk working. You could've not bought them and went somewhere else to get a 12 pack for cheaper but you didn't. It was your choice therefore you chose to pay the extra money to get what you wanted. Next time try asking for the lower or just don't buy it there.

Buy large quantities of beer at a larger store. The small liquor stores are Mom and Pop operations and can not really compete with larger stores. No, it is not the law that they have to meet the price of a 12 pack for you. This is a free country. You have the right to buy beer anywhere, just as they have the right to charge what they need to turn a profit.

Its not law they have to sell you two six packs and charge you for a twelve pack.....they do that for the simple reason to make money....also some stores will charge you different prices for warm beer vs cold beer usually cold beer is two to three dollars more...why you ask well somebody has to pay the bill for the cooler

Technically, they don't have to sell you 2 6pks at 12 pk price. They did not rob you, they charged you for what you got. So what you have to do is just go someplace that sells 12 pk beer instead of buying 2 6pks. Then you wouldn't feel so robbed. Most of the time they don't even know the price to charge you.

no they don't have to sell you two 6 packs for the 12 pack price. they don't carry it. They pay a certain price to the beer company so they have to sell it for a certain price to make their profit. They have overhead to consider, rent on their store, refrigeration, electricity, employees wages.

Sikhs don't like Muslims because they were persecuted by them for years... Prejudice against Sikhs. What an odd choice for Yahoo! Answers.

Everyone here is correct. Their suggestions are correct as well. You need to do your shopping at another store that is more "drinker friendly". My question (tongue in cheek) is why are you wasting your time on Coor's Light?
