I read that Jenna Bush got engaged to a guy she met on a political campaign. I'm extremely shy and have never been on a date, but it seems like since I'd already have similar political views with everyone there it would at least give me something to talk about. Do you think that would be a good idea?

Oh, absolutely! No matter what type of activity it is, volunteering is a great place to meet new people. I've gone on some good dates as a result of meeting people while volunteering. You automatically have a common point because if she's volunteering there too, she has similar interests. It's a great way to at least spark a new friendship.

Well if you just want to meet any kind of girl it's best to start at the mall or a skating ring, park, library or just plain ol school. Church is the number one answer because it's the best place to meet a good girl. There are also other places to meet girls like myspace, facebook and yahoo. Good luck!

yeah i think that would be interesting. it a plus because then you'll know that she has brains and she is not stupid and you can hold a decent conversation with her. go for it
