i have posted this question, which sort of goes with my other question about my boyfriend wanting to break up with me for not being smart. (please read/answer it if you want) I ahve posted this as a seperate one so i can get a more focused answer.
So my question basically is : How can i show my boyfriend that i am smart without him knowing that that is what i am trying to do? Any suggestions/Advice?

Substitute him with some activities, like reading something besides novels. Don't tell anything, but when he asks you to hang around, just tell him "not tonite babe, i want to finish this". He'll scratch his head for a while...

Sometimes you just can't change someone's mind and MAYBE the dumb blonde thing is just an excuse. I have a son that is extremely smart and he dated a girl that did not do well in school. Unfortunately, eventually, he got tired of that. I was mad at him for it but there was nothing I could do and nothing she could do. Some guys just love the challenge of a smart girl or someone on the same mind level as they are. If you try to prove to him that you are a "brain surgeon" he will just see through it. You are who you are and you should NEVER change for anyone unless it is for yourself. If you really want to be smarter then study something. But do it for you, not him.

ok hun. based on your first question i'd say that he knew you weren't on his level to begin with and that he is trying to make you feel even worse about it. he's kinda dumb himself for getting with you in the first place. that's not a dis to you it's just that if he wanted a brainy gf he should've checked out the gifted class first you know. some people just pick up on things slower than others. i'm a very smart woman but i am terrible at math. so what. that doesn't make you stupid. he seems like a waste of your time and if he wants out. let him cuz he's not worth crying over. he really sounds like a jerk.

Any guy who is going to tell you that you aren't smart does not deserve to be with you in the first place. You need to find someone who will value your worth. I would suggest not trying to prove a thing to him and just be on your own way.

Our speech and actions show through to show who and what we are intellectually. These things let people know something about our intellect and give people a chance to know out level of thought and behavior.
How do you speak? What do you talk about? These things matter. Don't just talk about dumb stuff. Have a wide variety in what you can talk about. If you just talk about "dit-a-ly" he is going to think and probably know you are ditsy and not too bright!
How is your vocabulary? Can you speak with words large than four letters? Can you talk about intellectual subjects? Do you keep up with world news,what kinds of subjects do you choose to study and talk about?
So you need to improve your vocabulary and writing skills, read a great deal about intellectual subjects and be about to speak with confidence on many topics,for example, know things about art museums, and famous people, know where various countries are and be about to speak about them in an intelligent way.
You must use good grammar and have good writing and speaking skills.
Ready, set, go. It is a big, wide world out there with lots of learning and to do so start now. It is never to late. Do it for yourself not just him.

I agree with the reading thing. It's a normal activity that won't be taken as an unusual thing. Then you should subscribe to some magazine or attend a club of your interest.

First of all - if you think you're dumb, then you are. Be confident. Because what your mind conceives, it manifests. Mind over matter. Think smart - and you will be. Don't let him put one over you. Think, think, think, smart. Sometimes, if you try too hard, then the more he thinks you are not. Just be yourself. Confident, smart, witty. Read - it also helps. :)

DON'T prove anything sweetie. You shouldn't have too. If he cant see who u are he has a big problem not you. Id love to give you advice and i would except its sickening that men and woman cant look at the "REAL" in a partner.

I HAVENT HEARD ANY of those, THAT become relatively humorous yet ITS real CUZ once I DYED MY HAIR BLOND IT MADE ME stupid....
