I was born-again, but I got over it. Now I see it for the superstitious nonsense that it is.
I've been an atheist for over 20 years now.
It is interesting how people keep claiming to have been taught by God, but still don't seem to know much. Statistically, the more educated a person is, the more likely he is an atheist.

I've been a believer for seven and a half years now. The most important lesson I've learned is to reinforce in people's minds the basics of what makes someone a Christian:
-Jesus is God
-Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and believing this is salvation. No works can ever be added to that, otherwise it becomes a false gospel. Hell is real and is the place all who choose to be unbelievers will go
-The Bible is the Word of God, without error and unchangeable
All these are contested by the cults, so in this day and age, God has shown me to make it clear what is a Christian, and what isn't.

I have been saved for 23 years now. The most important experience and lesson that I have recieved from God is one of the most recent.
A beginning of an understanding of how much more solid and trustworthy are the things that we can't see (God and His faithfullness) than the things which we can.

I was born again around 20 years ago as an adult.
I then fell away but God brought me back. At the age of 35 I had a prayer answered that blew me away, I had prayed this prayer when I was a child about being an adult. I had forgotten all about it and God answered it just at the right time. I got my butt back in church.
Oh and about the guy who said he's so smart blah blah blah, I have a science degree and I have rejected Evolution and the warm soup theory, too many holes. I have studied and believe in creation. Makes total sense.

I have accepted Christ as my personal savior for a year now and i have learned, in order to have faith, you must have a vision of the future but not know how in the world that vision is going to take shape into reality, but as long as God is managing your life, he'll make a way out of no way. The walls that stands towering in front of you will be destroyed, rivers that is blocking you from crossing into the land that God has for you will dry up, just so you can pass. So yeah, this has been the year of faith.

Sorry. Although I try to be christian, I am not born-again.
Being born-again is for those of the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation.
I'm part of those who will share in the fulfillment of Psalm 37:29.
However, if you wish to know the most important lesson I've learned ....its humility.
And why does it have to be THE MOST?
Why can't it be A MORE?

I've been a born-again Christian since I was 16. And I learn that every day is a new walk with Christ. Each day grows deeper in meaning and love.
Being a Christian is an exciting life!
And this for "Devoted to God": Yes, you HAVE been reborn, dear brother. :-)

29 years.
I have learned how faithful the Lord is
to us even in tough times!
I have learned to hear His voice and
distinguish it much more from my own
"voice" or emotions - to be able to
even prophesy and let others know
an encouraging word from God.
One of the most important things
is sincerity in prayer, not just praying
formally, but really pouring my heart
our honestly and also listening to God
during prayer, not just talking.
I have learned to actually pray what
God is telling me to pray about and
that also reveals to me things that
are going on. For example, one
day I was walking down the street
and started praying that my brother
would be encouraged that day.
I found out that my brother needed
that prayer that particular day,
he was discouraged!
Those things definitely boost my faith
in the Lord!

Was saved March 4, 1999
The biggest lesson I have learned is the one I am still in.
I am the prodigal daughter. Not that God wanted me to backslide but he is teaching me a lesson. I think I had to much pride in me, and very condemning towards others.
