Why would the sex of a person flying a plane matter? Would it bother you if the person driving your cab was a woman? I realize you are curious, but DA! Some of the best pilots in the world are woman.They just have less opportunities to fly with large companies. The good old boys club still exists in the commercial airlines.

No. And if it does bother someone they need to get over it. Anyone who has trained to become a pilot can fly a plane regardless of their gender.

Of course not! I had about 3 flights when the pilot was a woman! It was on Delta, and Continental. If I was on a flight where the woman was the pilot, I would just hope shes not drunk and suicidal.

was on a shuttle from Minneapolis to Sioux City and the person sitting with me was a pilot deadheating to the house.
she was a very nice and comopetent person. Would have great trust in her as a pilot

I'd be impressed and was when I flew from Washington D.C. to Charlotte, N.C. and a woman was co-pilot.
