I just found out about HPV and it's link to cervical cancer in women....it's pretty scary...has anyone here had cervical cancer?

75% of adults have HPV at some stage in their lives.

It can take 2 years for your body to flush it from your system once infected.

In some caces this can lead to cervical cancer. This is why pap smears are important.

There are over 200 types of HPV but only a few of these lead to cervical cancer.

I don't have cervical cancer, but I do have high-risk HPV. It is scary. That's why I'm such an advocate for the vaccine! :)
