What can we do to show love for everyone in the world (and in R&S)?

Hate, anger, suspicion, fear, shunning, etc. is easy to do but love is what we are called to show.

No excuses either... I don't want to hear but they do it too, they say this, they say that... You are still called to peace and love.

I admit that I have gotten my feathers ruffled too and spouted off in sheer crankiness... I generally get convicted in my spirit about it and mend my ways. So I am definitely not saying that I am perfect. I'm the extreme opposite of that!

So what have you? Why not ask serious questions today about the beliefs of others to get t oknow your neighbors on this planet?

I use the hebrew names to avoid being ambiguous.

Glad to see someone here at least tries to show a little bit of respect in the fact that you're willing to ask questions about beliefs and to admit that it's easier to show hate than it is to show peace... And here I was beginning to think only the fundies came here. ^_^

What can we do?

The easiest way to clean up R&S insanity is to stop answering the trolls questions.

Stop feeding the trolls, and they will go elswhere. (BTW, for those that didn't know. "The Troll Patrol" currently circulating, is just trolls having fun stirring the pot. They did the same thing on the Yahoo Message Boards.)

It isn't until the trolls have moved on that the R&S IQ level will raise, and folks will begin having more respect for each other than they do now.

It's hard to teach on a closed ear. Sometimes, we have to respect and let be.

But those who are willing to listen (or fight), i'll always fight back. Praise God.

Hate and anger aren't the answer. Neither is suspicion, fear, and shunning. We are called to love, even if it's not easy. Yes, it's hard. But it's what we're called to do.

God bless.

I really don't mind what you choose to believe. Just remember to return the favor. EX: Legislating morals that are contained solely within your belief system.

Understand that if the beliefs of everyone were represented that do not impose on someone detrimentally, we'd all be able to get along.

very almost all stable theists admit faith as area of their reason for believing in a particular god. Atheists universally reject faith as having anyplace in organising concept. It does seem extra life like, therefor, that an atheist while pressed could admit to being an atheistic agnostic. in spite of everything, atheism can't be shown previous a threat doubt. i do no longer see how a rational individual might desire to declare to "understand" with incontrovertible fact that no god exists. yet so what? call your self something you pick. final time I checked, the thought police have been nevertheless accumulating their forces. till they get the means to enforce language, you stay unfastened to apply it as you will. peace

I just read your question and it's about 20 hours since you posted it. It's an excellent question and I agree with you 100%. I am far from perfect and I have my irritable moments when I'm annoyed, but you are absolutely right. We are supposed to be loving others as we love ourselves. Thanks for the reminder, bro.

We are commanded to be like Jesus , to follow Him in all things To talk like Him, walk like Him, love like Him, speak like Him, and when we do we are living the righteous life to which God calls us and He will see as as Rightous and we will be saved. Gift of salvation is free, but holding on to it has conditions. To be like Jesus or we arent really His. If we life Like Him, we will know just what to do in every situation.
God bless ya for the question, again.

Praise the Lord. I have prayed to the Lord to show me what good thing I can do today for my cousin who lives with me. I have prayed that he give me the pleasures that are at his right hand.

I would suggest answering questions with all sincerity, simplicity, and honesty.

Don't fudge on the answer, and don't react to some of the nonsense that goes on around here.

Be real, use your own life as an example of what God can do, and be ready to give a reason for the hope that is in you.

Amen :-)

Can I just call Him Jesus, or are you requiring using Yeshua?

I think Jesus showed in the Gospels that He is perfect love, even as He showed anger against a group defiling the temple of God, and warning speech against those who rejected Him.

So I guess I don't understand your definition of "love".
