You have it wrong. Because of gvmt, the Kyoto treaty creates more pollution and loss of the forest, in the name of caring.

The less gvmt is involved, and the more business is involved, the better it is for the planet.

Yes they do, they do not want to let others know the truth. This is so there will be less competition for the land at the poles that they are getting ready to go to war over. They know that all the land in the far north and far south that is now under a glacier will be uncovered exposing the access to gold/diamonds/oil/etc/etc

What they do not plan on is the ice age that always follows. This believe it or not is the only thing that will save us from total destruction. Some of us will survive an ice age. But none would survive if earth goes thermal hot with no chance of return. The ice age will give the earth time to clean itself up after the mess we caused. This will help put all the carbon back in the ground where it belongs. It will put the water in the form of snow and ice back at the poles where it belongs. It will limit us to living in a few third world countries near the equator for a while.

Okay, now stop and think for yourself a moment.

First, what control do you think the 'government;' has? Especially over a Democrat psy-op?

The weather is the weather. It takes a great deal of arrogance to think that mankind can have a measurable effect on it. Consider: CO2 makes up abou 3% of the atmosphere. That's from ALL sources. Human activity accounts for about 10% of THAT. Which calculates down to 0.3%. That is WAY below the threshold of statistical error.

Stop worrying about things you can't affect.

It's because they have much more pressing mattters to attend to, such as international conflicts, terrorism, fuel shortages, welfare, education and healthcare just to name a few. They don't have the time or money to invest in global warming, when it still isn't clear that we can even prevent it. It is up to individual people to take action for now. You can't expect the government to do everything for you.

The sad fact of the matter is that we have known about Global Warming for many years. It's only when a problem begins to threaten our safety that people pay attention to it. You may have to come to terms with the fact that human beings are shallow, greedy and self-destructive. There is a very real possiblity that your grandchildren may not have a habitable planet. Our race may just be an 'evolutionary dead-end'. So be it.
