Ok, if you don't have a job, you still have birthdays and Christmas. Make an obvious effort to be saving money, whether you babysit, save gift money, or whatever. I told her that when she is graduated I'm going to give mine to her. She agreed. If you want laptop, ask your parent if they can get you one when you graduated, but not now.

Check with the your guidance counselor they have laptops available for some students and maybe she can find a program that will allow you to have access to one. Also, if you don't really want it, then why are trying to get one, if it is not something that you really desire, then don't put your family in debt for something that you don't want or won't use.

You can get a laptop once you become old enough to work and get one yourself. I don't have a laptop, and many of my friends do, and I'm not sad about it.
Also, you can be an individual and not be like your friends. They can have their laptops, but you'll have your individuality. No one said you had to have what they have.

Start collecting money. Do babysitting, have a bake sale, try to earn money. the cheapest laptops are about 400 dollars. so if u start earning money u'll get ur laptop.
