Well said. I'm just hoping everyone out there is reading this. Not to judge but to help each other and serve each other. I am a christian and am saved and no matter who you are of any religion, if I have the means to help you I would no matter what. Even my enemies. Instead of fighting over who is right and wrong why can't we all just help each other out and accept it. Just try to catch yourself from judging. I still have a problem judging people. A funny story i was listening to lecrae which is a christian rapper and i was listening loud and lecrae was singing about being saved. Some guy yelled at me to turn that crap off noone wants to hear it. Mind you the guy had a jesus fish on his car. So i explained to him about it was a christian rapper and his view changed. Hoftly he will grow from that experience. Another story is i was looking for a person to join my company and was talking to people and this one jamaican guy was so quiet didnt even speak. I was like definately not him. So i went right to the overpowering talkitive guy. I got no where with him and definately was not the person i was looking for to lead my team. Well the Jamaican guy over heard me and started talking to me softly and not powerful at all. In my head i was like this is never going to work. Im proud to say he now is my top leader in my company and has about 400 people he supervises. He has now turned into a powerful speaker and everything i wanted in a supervisor.

As your child is a year old she barely knows anyone and will not even remember the time you were away. So this is really about you and not about your children. It is a shame you allowed your father to pressure you into service but it is even worse that you didn't finish your commitment. You could have done so well for your children and yourself. Hopefully you have something on the outside that will allow you to care for your family. As far as judging you goes, you are no longer a Soldier. So deep down I don't care. I do care that you wasted the Army's time. Good luck!

If that were the case then, since there is no god, there could be no judgment. So should we lead our lives promiscuously, without judgment or discretion? Should we eliminate the court system? Should we forget about selecting the best produce and just fill our shopping baskets without looking at the tomatoes or apples? Should we cancel our state fairs and tell all the 4H kids to forget about whether Bossie's a cow worthy of best in show?
Life without judgment is foolishness.

People should not stop judging. We can't progress if we never make judgements about anything, including the actions of other people.

If someone has beliefs, then those beliefs should be judged. With religious beliefs, especially, many claims are made that shouldn't be just accepted without questioning.

There are no gods judging anything. They don't exist. Even if they did exist, they sure aren't giving their opinions on anything. It is all just men judging what they think that a god would just if there was a god.

Now, when we judge, we should do so intelligently. We shouldn't judge on superficial characteristics that don't matter much. I can't really tell the morality of a person, good or bad, just based on their religious belief. Religion tends to be a poor predictor of morality. However, I can judge specific claims of the religion on its own merit.

You are so absolutely correct in this. God DOES judge, and ONLY God can judge.

The question here that you must answer for yourself is whether or not you are guilty.

Before you answer to quickly, answer the following questions with the honesty of your heart:
1. Have you ever told a lie? (If so, that makes you a liar)
2. Have you ever taken anything that wasn't rightfully yours? (Then you are a thief)
3. Have you ever looked at another person with sexual desire? (Jesus says that if so, that is the same as adultery in God's eyes)
4. Have you ever been so angry at another person (for whatever cause) that you wished them ill will, and possibly even wished they were dead? (Jesus says that since God looks at the heart, He sees you as a murderer)
5. Have you ever used God's name in a manner unbecoming His Holy-ness? Or used God as a swear word? That is called blasphemy.

Keeping in mind that Jesus said that if you break even ONE Law, you're guilty of ALL, how do YOU grade yourself? I'll be honest. I had to admit that I'm a lying, thieving, adulterous, murdering blasphemer (*sigh*) :-(

These aren't even all 10 Commandments, but if God were to judge you on just these few, COULD you claim "Not Guilty!" ???

Now then, I need to ask you one very important question: Do you have a good lawyer?

I would like to recommend someone who NEVER loses a case, and that is Jesus Christ.

Good luck on judgement day. Just remember, God is the PERFECT judge, and will uncover ALL the facts, and He will not tolerate sin at all.

I agree we should worry about our own sins, but the bible also says judge righteous judgement as well. If we are quoting what God said in his word that is not judging. We are messengers of God's word, and we are to teach and men are to preach. If people refuse to hear God's word then we are to knock the dust from our feet and move on.

Yes, it is ultimately up to God. However, even the Bible say's that not all who claim to worsip God are worshipping Him in a way that is acceptable to Him - Matthew 7:21 - 23. If it was okay to believe in whatever we wanted to, than it would be okay to kill people in the name of religion, like the terrorists do. We all know that's not true. God has set standards in the Bible that need to be followed if we want His approval.

I think if people would judge more often, we would be better people. I know i didnt do a lot of bad things in high school because i knew that people would judge me differently because of it.

I think its good we judge convicted serial killers as "bad". I think its good that we judge firefighters as "good" in a general sense.

I agree. People should spend all of that time they use in judging to learn how to write clear English.
