Hummus is great!

It is essentially a paste made of chick peas.

Since chick peas have a very light taste, you can get it in different flavors, like roasted red pepper, onion and garlic, pesto etc.

It tastes great, and is very good for you. It is mostly used as a dip, but you can also use it as a spread. You can dip veggies in it, but most people like to dip crackers or pita wedges.

It isn't expensive either $2.50 will get you an 8 oz tub.

Hummus is good if it's made right. One time I substituted some store-bought hummus for the refried beans in a meat-cheese-bean burrito. It rocked.

I love hummus. I dip pita chips, tortilla chips in it, or even use it as a spread on a sandwich. It tastes like garbanzo bean, garlic, lemon, and a bit of sesame. When I make mine I float parsley oil on top.

It's basically smashed chick peas with seasonings, flavors and such. It's OK, some flavors are better than others. It has kind of a pasty texture. I like the dill. It is more made for eating with pita wedges or stuff like that-I wouldn't recommend just eating it on crackers. :)
