The Portuguese police are probably right to be thinking that Madelaine is by now, dead.

There are no leads to the person or persons who abducted Madelaine as far as we know anyway.

The difficulty has been the secrecy surrounding the Portuguese Police enquiries into the case. Under Portuguese Law, they are not allowed to give any information to the media since it could prejudice their case or that of witnesses etc.

We just do not know and anything which we read in the press is probably conjecture and speculation.

Question number 2000 followed by an estimated 20,000 answers from a small group of people . Surely Yahoo should do something about this disgraceful hate campaign?. (Don't be fooled by the innocuous "question" It is deliberately worded to attract the hate campaign supporters

In my opinion, it's hard to judge. It depends where last night's news' sources were: the police themselves, or the Portuguese press? It could be hyped up to sound more than it actually is. I also watched the morning news programmes and read Teletext, and nothing as of yet. To hazard a guess, could be something to do with the blood in the hotel room, that the labs were supposedly still testing last night.
