Gargle with baking soda & warm water solution - baking soda will eliminate odors. (it tastes salty) and the salt in it will cleanse the area.
I have also bought a tongue scraper (found by the toothbrushes) and they are thin & stay close to the tongue, so they dont hit your uvula & trigger that gag reflex as easy. I cant brush the back of my tongue cuz i gag too. But the tongue scraper works about 90% of the time with no gagging.

That's definitly where the "bad breath" is lurking. Get yourself a tongue scraper, it's made so that you won't gag. Continue to brush, floss and mouthwash and you should be fine.

brush your tongue! lol. umm. use mouthwash maybe. or try Colgate 360. the back of the toothbrush has a tongue cleaning thing. it doesnt make me gag
