If you fail 3 physical fitness exams within 4 years, you are processed out. Ohh by the way, Mcdonalds and KFC are world wide. Ever had KFC in the phillipines, or Mcdonalds in Japan???

Actually, in your ignorance, you're obviously not aware that the US Navy started discharging people who couldn't maintain physical fitness / body-fat regulations WAY back in 1991 with the down-sizing of the military.

Those people were treated like Alcoholics and Drug-Addicts and were sent to REHAB to treat their eating-disorders. If they couldn't lose the weight and maintain it in a given time, they were DISCHARGED.

I served for 15 years as an aircrewman / rescue-swimmer and RARELY found any FAT sailors except for a few OLD CPO's. The food aboard ship is really VERY healthy, and has improved even more since the 1980's.

The ONE "chubby" guy I knew: a fellow rescue-swimmer, who'd gotten ROUND on shore-duty was teased MERCILESSLY by the rest of us !! We called him "Pillsbury" after the baking products "Dough-boy". We also took him out and worked his *** off until he met not only NAVY requirements, but SAR Swimmer norms.

Oh, and during my 15 years, my Body-Fat-Percentage never reached over 4.8 %... during the first 10 years, I held steady at 3%. The period of 4.8 was after I was commissioned and wasn't swimming any longer.

The ships are kept afloat by the hot air spewed by nincompoops like you, and are fueled by the traditions of the Navy for the past 200+ years.
