Is the Nice Guy label bad for guys?

I tried several dating sites and kept getting the same response: you are a Nice Guy. That is, too nice for me!
Is being a Nice Guy a bad label?

Sometimes it seems like it, doesn't it? Sometimes I ask myself when it started being bad to be a considerate, respectful guy... Here's an article you can read about nice guys. I really like it, and think certain aspects of it can apply to everyone. Take a read.
