Hello i have windows vista home premium with 1 gb of ram and 40 gb of free memory and also intel pentium dual core processor what happened right is that i have downloaded adobe after effect from the original site. I have extracted their files on my folder when i open the files to run setup. The setup menu comes for a second then dissapears what can i do to make it run properly and install it properly please help its kind of urgent.

Just a thought. Did you make sure it was for Vista, and not XP.
Many of the programs are not yet Vista ready. double check anything you want to download in the way of programs.
