About the same time to come up with the complete works of Shakespeare. Remember they're not researching or developing the storyline(s), they're just producing a random collection of keystrokes that can be read or has meaning.

Only 1. No matter how meaningless the typings of a monkey, if the words were sold as a bible, there would be true believers who would die for it. It does not matter if they can't understand the words, as evidenced by christians with their current bible.

I always heard it as "if you put 100 monkeys in front of a typewriter for 100 years, one of them will eventually type out "War and Peace".

Good question.

There's no such thing as a believable bible, so by definition, it must be impossible for the monkeys.

PS. Of course in a Planet of the Apes movie...

As history has proven, monkey must have written it, it does not make any sense to the majority of humans.

I have a couple of questions...

Who made the typewriters?
And who would publish said works?

I'm pretty sure that must be how they wrote the Bible.
