Prayer is a waste of time. It is a way for people to feel good about doing something, without actually doing anything.
There are no gods sitting around answering prayers.

I don't pray but I wouldn't want others to be just like me, the world would be pretty dull without a vast mix of different personalities. I wish I had the nerve to dye my hair green though, but I live in a cow town and to many old biddies would drop from shock, I wouldn't want that.

When we pray for others, it should be for their needs... not mine..
And, since I know that I am a sinner, no matter what the effort I may put into avoiding sin, I would not pray for other to be like me.

No.
But I pray for others to be saved, and for their well being and anything else I think they need from God.
It seems that when I pray for others, I get better results than if I pray for myself, God knows when I'm being selfish.

Well yeh you could if you were yourself doing the right thing but, it would seem a little conceited, I usually pray for them just to be the best that they can be.

God shows mercy, so we in ourselves should show mercy. I dont pray for people to be saved, i pray for them to see the light and turn their life around.

I don't pray. I prefer to take concrete action instead of letting an imaginary friend deal with my (or others) problems.

No. I don't pray for anyone to be "saved."
The world is good. Prosperity is good. Life is good, and we should live it with joy and enthusiasm. We don't need salvation. All we need is the freedom to face our destiny with courage and honor.
