"science can't even "dissprove" spelling errors... How could it possible disprove the existence of a "Diety" (and here I thought diets were good for us) or better yet a Deity? and Why would, or should it try?
Couldn't science better spend its time actually trying to find cures for cancer?

No, science in it's web of complex branches and specialties is not about disproving deities. However, none of the relative sciences have found anything to collaborate the existence of any deity. In other words, archeology has not found any directly supporting for the Bible or Quaran, and similar assertion can be made for any other relevant science.

It is not the purpose of science to prove or disprove the existence of etherreal dieties. Science attempts to quantify the physical world, how it reacts, and how it can be manipulated. This is just putting science into the realms of the ridiculous!

No -- science shows that any deities cannot contravene scientific physical laws.

And so, there are either no gods or else any gods are indifferent to our lives.

"Miracles" are things in the natural world that the priests define as events that increase the faith of the Faithful -- a circular definition.

Best assume there are no gods and take responsibility for your own actions.

far from it, QED=Quantum Electro Dynamics is searching for an answer to that right now, in my opinion, they have come to some understanding of how atomic structures are built but do not know the reason of the force that holds everything together as to prevent chaos.

Science can't prove something that doesn't exist. It's up to you gullible believers to prove that a god (any god) exists.

If I said I could lift a mountain, you would want proof wouldn't you? Otherwise you wouldn't believe it.

I do wonder at the intelligence of most believers I encounter. Though most of them come from the US, which explains a lot!

Logic 101 - Never try to prove a negative!

I need to go on a diety. I hope they still exist.

No... that is out of scope for 'science'. Science looks for natural explanations for natural things. So far, they're doing just fine. God? As LaPlace told Napoleon... "Sire... I have no need of that hypothesis."

It's not possible to prove that something DOESN'T exist (this is called proving a negative). You can only prvoe that something DOES exist. So this statement can't be true.
