Okay, first of all hun, ignore all the 'fad' diet idiots.
The only way you will lose weight is through a good, healthy diet and excercise.
Eat four or five small to medium meals a day, containing carbs (pasta/rice/potatoes), protien (chicken, fish, etc) and vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (lots of fresh fruit and veg).
Now excercise, which is just as important.
Remember that there is a HUGE difference between weight and body fat levels.
You will not always lose weight when you excercise, often because of toning muscle mass you will put it on, but that is still fine as long as your body fat levels stay at a healthy level.
First of all cardio is a must. (running/swimming/cycling/etc) this will make you healthier, keep your body fat levels down and tone you up.
This is the best way to lose fat.
Strength and weight training is also important.
Use really light weights but lots of reps on your major areas (arms, chest, shoulders, etc) this will 'tone' your muscles and define them rather than building bulk. Also do a lot of squats, lunges for your legs and a lot of torso excercises (abs/obliques/etc).
As you tone up and use your muscles, your body will be stronger and healthier, and the muscles will increase your metabolism, which will burn more fat.
Good luck.

Try this:
1. Drinking more water because drinking water can help to curb hunger feelings.
2. Eat more vege, more fruits, less rice/potato
3. Moderation is the main KEY!
4. Less snacks (once in a while is ok)
5. Take slow walk every evening for about 20 minutes.
6. Do not eat after 8pm.
7. Eat little but regularly.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.
It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.
Details such as my experience, meals, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog.

Burning fat is really quite easy. All you have to do is intake less than you expend or in other words don't eat more than you burn. Most people need to drop 3500 calories a week from their program to lose one (1) pound. I hope that helps:)

1 By reducing the fat in your diet!
2 Exercise more..if you don't like it try dancing.
Have a proper diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables because they don't have fat.
The meat is a good source of protein but try and buy lean cuts of meat, peel the skin of the chicken, don't eat to much pastries, keep away from saturated fats, don't have fried food....
Good luck!

Distracted dining are certain to get you in trouble. Avoid eating before a television or in a cinema, as you're bound to use up more calories.

Are your dishes too big? A healthy dinner should fit on the 9-inch plate. You may discover that kid-sized plates are more appropriately sized to feed an adult!
