I think you'll find that 056... is a number allocated to people who use BT Talk. It allows them to make calls through their internet connection. Many people are now requesting regional numbers instead for this service to enable friends/family to remember the number more easily.

Not only do I remember that, but I remember when the first 2 numbers were stated as letters... like JU5 - Jupiter 5, or CA9 - Capitol 9 ! And no I'm not an idiot who answered one of your earlier questions !

all the numbers and counties are posted and updated
used to use this at Vz when customer needed help

I think it may be 0560 numbers you are on about..something to do with VOIP or Skype

Is that a US number - if its a UK number - need a nother didgit to tell you . or its a BT Broadband number.
