I enjoy discussing religious ideas. I'm curious as to what others believe or don't believe in what is being presented as a "truth". I only get joy from it when it is a discussing and not an argument and both sides are learning something from it... even if it's only to learn the other sides point of view and maybe a better understanding of what makes those people tick.

They don't.

Non-Christians don't normally stalk around talking about Christ and God. I think you will find Christians are the ones who do that.

If you are referring to here - then this is an Internet site where people ask questions (and make comments) about religions, so it is natural that people will discuss religion, or lack of here.

We enjoy a good philosphical discussion, and we offer a different (sometimes broader) perspective on life, morality, and theology than any single faith that ultimately believes it is universally right.

For entertainment purposes. They enjoy ridiculing and disrespecting the beliefs of others that they don't understand. (Some do this, not everyone.)
