now 4 days but use to be upto 10 i use to be a greenhorn on 1 of the boats and i can tell u for days is not enough but the money is good so remember all u ppl that eat the crab this is a very dangerous job so enjoy

Over fishing in recent times has reduced the population.

On Discovery Channel's The Deadliest Catch I think I heard two weeks, or 10 days. It's a really short season that's for sure.
