Yeah, I know this isn't a question. But, a little while ago I posted a very careless and mocking answer to a question, and I feel like my thoughtlessness has grieved the Holy Spirit in some way. I don't want to draw attention to the answer I gave (I've since deleted it), but for anyone who saw it and might have been offended, I sincerely apologize and truly hope you can forgive me. God is still teaching me that I should think before I speak... or, in this case, type.

Anyway, I was wrong to answer impulsively and I'm sorry.

Why does everyone assume I'm a dude? I'm a dudette... I thought the butterfly would have given it away. :)

Jeff E, is wasn't directed to one particular person, although I'm sure I've been guilty of that too - I can sometimes come across as being too sarcastic. It's just an apology to anyone who read it and maybe got offended. And, being ridiculed by strangers is much more preferable to the feeling you get when you grieve the Holy Spirit... not a good feeling at all!

Anyway, thanks to all who have been understanding. :)

No offense brother...all is forgiven but in future, just choose the word wisely...

The one thing we must avoid here is being offensive. This is a discussion board so discuss in a civil way is really appreciated.

A lesson is learned, that is what this life is about, making mistakes and feeling there effects. It is nice that you want to show you are sorry, and now you can go and no longer worry about your words. To write in a certain way would indicate an anger in you, you should let go of this also.
Being in the human way is all about feeling the cause and effect of this lifetime. Without this physical existence we could not progress. Try never to be the judge of others, be the keeper of your own council. Always speak gently and positively.

Everyone spends their entire lives learning...most of the time from mistakes made. If you've learned the lesson intended, forgive yourself and move on, friend. No one's perfect. The best we can do is to try.

Peace.

'ts alright dude. You didn't offend me, but the fact you go out of your way to apologise speaks volumes. I am sure you can consider yourself forgiven.

EDIT: I said 'dude' as a general term of endearment. Just for that, I'm retracting my forgiveness. Burn in hell, you sinner.

If it was directed at a certain person, you should apologize to them, but thank you for your openness and willingness to open yourself up to ridicule.
