I'v seen most of thsoe pakisthani muslims and mullahs grow looooooooon beards , also jews..........

Every young man of the West should have a beard at least once. Grow it until you get tired of taking care of it, or until your girlfriend complains that her face is being scratched by it. Before you shave it off, be sure a photograph of the bearded you has been made--for your children and grandchildren.

In Islam, the prophet ordered us to keep our beard unshaved.
Whether you have a beard or not, it doesn't show how religious you are. A beard is not a sign of being religious because the religion consists of many, many laws. One of the is keeping your beard long.
There are many people I know how shave their beards but they are more religious than most people with beards.
And I know people who kept their beard but break many other laws.

A beard does not make you religious or God happy only a pure heart seeking Him can do that.

Are you serious?? how long do YOU want your beard? you have a mind of your own don't you? surely being religious is much more about the person you are not how you look??!!

i doubt if god gives a hoot how long you grow a beard, and why do you think growing a beard is going to make you look religious, unless you dye it and your hair white, then maybe you could pull off the moses look.........you just sound bored to me............go read a book

you might want to be careful about that. Because my dad has a beard, and my mum sometimes comments that he might be mistaken for a terrorist some day. =P
But, i think she just says that to make him shave it off, because she doesn't really like his beard.....
