I think that this war between Christians and Atheists needs to just cool it. So insulting, trying to make someone feel inferior for not sharing the same beliefs you do? That's so wrong. Everyone believes in what they do (and don't) for a reason, and that's the end. Arguing on Y/A is hardly going to convert anyone to Christianity or Atheism. If Atheists believe the Christians are buying into a book of fairy tales, get over it. Let them believe. And the Christians who believe the Atheists are on a one way road to Hell, get over it. That's their business not yours. Everyone just shut up unless you have some, intelligent, well thought out, respectful argument to make. Otherwise, you just look like an ***.

We already do, the US is over 85% Christian and if you want to call our country a "fool's paradise", then it already exists. Although many of us Christians do not claim to be "born again" still we are all Christians.

If it made them good, decent, sensible people then I would say yes, but the trouble is that you end up with terrible things such as people trying to encourage a nuclear holocaust just because of an absurd belief that they're going to float up to heaven when it all kicks off.

Thomas, behave yourself. It's too early in the day to be playing one of Will Shakespeare's Fools. Don't get the Fundies started. They are apt not to know you're a mere boy and take you seriously. Without them to defend him, god would simply collapse and ne'er be heard from again.

Yes, you should let us live however we want, because if we are wrong, we will end up just like you, so why not allow us this time to have some peace about our lives.

Yea, why not - not doing you any harm. Although - on second thoughts - perhaps their paradise is not so foolish.
