sunscreen is great for skin, it protects it from the UV rays and moisturises at the same time. a lot of foundations are being made now with SPF in them, this is because even with makeup, hats and on cold rainy days, the UV rays are still damaging our skin.
skin burning is when blood capillaries dialate in an attempt to rid the skin of excess heat, and the cells fill with liquid, slightly swelling the skin. this is a bad thing, you cant reverse it and the damage is severe. Also the sun ages you quicker, so you are doing long term damage to the skin when tanning.
In sunscreen SPF means the time you can stay out in the sun without needing to reapply. it protects against UV rays only. in theory, your skin can take about 10 minutes of sun wiothout burning, and SPF of say 6 (low), means you can stay in the sun approx 6 times longer than if you were unprotected (1 hr).
Sunscreen is a great thing to waer daily, and it will keep your skin really well looked after in the long run.

Yes sunscreen is good for your skin. It protects it from harmful sun rays that cause wrinkles, skin cancer and any other type of sun damaging to the skin. Many creams have SPF 15 that is recommended to wear in the summer or winter. In the summer it's best to wear a higher SPF if you are staying in the sun for long.

If there are any dangerous chemicals in sunscreen, which i'm sure there are'nt. It would still be more dangerous to not use sunscreen on a regular basis when being exposed to the sun on a regular basis.

The WORST possible thing you could do for your skin is not wear it. Even if you tan you run a high risk of skin cancer. You use sunscreen everyday and your going to have some healthy, beautiful skin my dear!

its not bad! just don't put to much on ur face or if it says its ok to then go ahead. But it shouldn't be bad unless ur algeric :[ but if ur not going to be in the sun for a day then there's no need to put it on :D also if u just use it on a daily basis to make ur skin moisturized then get some lotion. My mom uses Cocoa Butter...it doesn't make you break out and she has oily skin and she says it feels great! lol and she's only 29 now :]

Being concerned about skin cancer is valid; however, most sunscreen products can do more harm than good. Some sunscreen products contain toxic chemicals that penetrate the skin, and can actually increase the risk of disease. Chemicals you may wish to avoid include: PABA, Dioxybenzone, Oxybenzone, and Titanium Dioxide. [If you insist on using sunscreen, consider a safer, natural sunscreen product.]

ive tried sunscreen, the cheap ones, the ultra expensive one and now i dont use sunscreen at all.
its bad for my skin!!!!
