There's no fix-it-fast way to do this. Hips and the tummy are the areas of the body that tend to accumulate more fats. You'll need to do a combination of cardio exercises with crunches at least 3 days a week, for 1/2 hour each time. You'll also need to maintain a nutritious and well-balanced diet to help with maintaining optimal energy levels and health.

I will show you how to lose weight and have more energy instantly! The problem with our diet is that we get too many calories, fat, sugar and salt. On the other hand we get too little of the things we need, like, vitamins, minerals, fiber and water. not only do we get overweight but put ourselves at risk for many health problems. Nothing can do you good better than exercise and healthy eating.
Walk up hill, or jog, or use the elliptical trainer; do 30 minutes or more a few days a week. and Eat healthy; belly fat or thighs or hips comes from deep fried foods, too many sugary foods - so just moderate and dont deprive yourself from anything.
Lastly, situps or crunches - in order to target lower part of your belly, u need most exercises with leg raising. so do crunches 50-100 before you go to bed and right when u wake up!
I used to hate crunches but honestly its the best before bed and right when u get up.
Also if you're able to lift weights, do it !!- remember you cant just lose fat from one part of your body. So by lifting weights, light weights 3 sets of 12 - ull burn more fat and build a litttle muscle - but more muscle faster fat burn and faster metabolism. and so is the case with Cardio - you speed up your metabolism up to the next 24 hours.

Basically I am assuming its fat you want to get rid of. Fat cannot be lost from just one spot on your body (muscle can be developed in only one area, such as doing press ups will develop your arm muscles)... you cannot 'spot' lose fat. So you will need to do cardio workouts to lose weight from all over, and eventually see drop in hips and tummy.

Walking 1hr+, Running 30mins, Swimming, Jump Rope, Aerobics, Dancing in your living room to fun music.... All cardio. I would also recommend doing 3 cardio a week, and 2 relaxing workouts, such as Yoga / Pilates / Stretching.

I used to hate rigorous workouts but I was also so sick with my fat body especially my pot belly and big butt. Thank god, once I met a new friend in a family gathering and he told me a very good site that I later found so helpful. The site taught me great workouts and diet tips and showed me what I had been doing wrong to address my fat body problem... Here is the good thing you might wanna to check out more. Good luck!
