I will first tell you that I have been married 40 years and my Husband and His mother always had HORRIBLE blackheads on the cheekbone under the eye and the outside of the cheek bone.
This is my total solution, it completely solved both of their problems.
1. Put Vaseline on your entire face over night. I probably do this about once a month.
2. In the morning warm a wet hand towel about 30 seconds in the Microwave and put it on your face. Let it rest to warm your face really well, then clean your face with it.
3.At Walmart in the beauty department they have or have had a stretchy, slightly rough glove that works great for cleaning your face.
4. After the hot towel get in the shower and use the glove to scrub your body concentrate on those problem areas. It is great for exfoliating.
You will find that as you soften and open the pores and scrub the "junk" will come out of the black heads. Just use the glove on the problems areas every time you bathe.
Find an absorbent makeup for the oiliness.
Good Luck.

there are a few things that could be making your face oily. example health reasons, but looking past that heres what i suggest:
Facial cleanser for oily skin- a passionfrit cleansing gel or pineapple gel.
its not all about a cleanser though. once a week it is a good idea to have a DIY facial, to cleanse out the pores and let them rejuvinate:
1. cleanse- so do small circular motions and then blot off with a tiddue or cotton ball. be careful that you dont drag your skin around the eye area, this is really sensitive and it will be left red. always dab off water.
2. scrub with an exfoliater- not one too harsh, you dont want to damage the new skin below (you just want to take off the old dead skin).
3. Steam- put some warm to hot water in a bowl, lean over it and put a towel over your head, this will open opres and allow the grease and griome and any left over makeup out. about 5 minutes for dry skin and bout 10 mins for oily. PAT dry.
4. mask- you can find these at stores- for oily skin the best one is a deep cleansing one, you really wanna get all the oils out. only use it for the recommended times though. actually there are some really good websites out there that have some make at home masks, these are good too, and a cheaper alternative.
5. freshen- gently smooth face freshner over the face with cotton wool to take all traces of face mask off
6. moisturise- now this is an important step for oily skin, so use it sparingly and i recommend a vitamin E lotion, dab it on in very small amounts- and it will spread.
DO NOT do this daily, its wayyyyyy to hash for skin, but once a week is really good.
the daily routine should be a face cleanse, a toner and a moisturise (but as i said oily skin should limit this).
with the blackhead problem try smoothing almond oil over the area and apply hot or warm (so it doesnt burn) towels on top. this will soften them, making them easier to remove. oily skin also has the tendancy to get infected (or bacteria) easy, causing more blackheads, the best prevention is to limit touching your face, so you dont grind dirt in, use a light if any makeup and try to eat a healthy diet.
hope this helps you,

The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!

I have the same problem (really)
So far I use apricot scrub (I use regular, but the gentle cream one is really good to) and then I use olay daily facials (toner/cleaner/mask and something else all in one cloth)
The one thing I noticed is that if you get a new product, you have to stick with it about a week because when you keep changing products on your face, that will cause you to break out even worse.
Also when you wash your face use warm/hot water to open up your pores and then when its washed and clean a couple splashes of really cold sink water to close them up...
Hope I helpedâº

I agree with the person who said choose a skin care routine and stick with it. At minimum, you need a good cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. Arbonne makes an Intelligence Line of skincare that adjusts to your skins needs. Arbonne also offers a 45 day money back guarantee. All products are botanically based (natural stuff), no animal products or by-products, and no mineral oil (which clogs your pores). Check your current choices and make sure they do not have mineral oil in them. Good luck!

I use acne free. Walmart sales it for around $20.00. It is great for every day use. As for blackheads if this is your only problem then I suggest using St Ives Medicated Apricot Scrub. I use this once a week with a exfoliating sponge. I no longer have any blackheads.

noxzema works wonders..it comes in a big blue container and its cheap...about $4 for a big one.
u should carry around some oil-absorbing sheets for when ur face gets oily. clean and clear make these sheets so just keep some in ur bag or something to absorb the excess oil..thats what i do and i almost never have a pimple or blackhead!!
